  1. Not a single clutch hit in the entire series. So not only have we let the Braves back into the race (not that they were ever really out of it) but we've let the Skanks right their ship just as it was taking on vast amounts of water.
  2. Nimmo on 2nd, send him on just about anything.
  3. And, with the game on tge line, the Yanx are bringing the Lefty out of the pen (to face a switch hitter) and it's not Aroldis Chapman!!
  4. While GKR are tripping over each other in praising Nido's bunting, have they considered whether they've helped to build any runs?
  5. Good for Gary if that's the case.

  7. Two shoulda outs turned into zero outs.
  8. Having Gelbs give both the pre-game odds and the updated in-game odds should be beneath SNY. Apparently it isn't.

He's the second cut-off and there was no reason to think there'd be a play at 2nd. Torres seemed to lose track of where Pete was so went for the out at 2B If there's a second cutoff, it's the firstbaseman's job. If he's positioned there by design, that's a waste of a player. 1B is the cut off going home. You could see by the overhead shot they showed, IKF (as his friends call him) was at 2nd until he realized there was not going to be a play there at which point he moved to back Torres.
  10. Another less than genius move by Torres. That's one of those, dumb even if you make it plays. More pitches than you'd like to see from Lugo (not entirely his fault) particularly if he's looking to go another inning here.
  11. HP Ump ain't doing Lugo any favors this inning.

  13. Pete scores on that hit if he doesn't stumble/stop, but that's a total bonehead move by Gleyber Torres (who doesn't seem like a high-IQ player overall).
  14. I didn't like that send. The RF in this stadium is already playing deep 2B before charging the hit. Then throw in Lindor coming up. Also don't Ike the head first slide
  15. Canha with the first decent contact of the game. And now the catcher's interference is the second.
  16. But none of this matters if we're going to flail at pitches all night like the did yesterday. Right now they're a Vogelbach swing away from looking at a double shutout.
  17. This all went to shit in a hurry.
  18. Whole Lotta weak contact so far ... even by the guys getting on base.
  19. Nice 6 pitch bottom 1st for Tie-one-on Now Montas goes right back in the soup after his near 30 pitch effort with hardly a break at all.
  20. These 1st inning mound visits would be banned under my MLB dictatorship (Yanx did it last night too,). Nice to hear GKR agreeing.
  21. Good fundies ... the Yanx used three hands on that pop-up.
  22. I think that's the first time we've seen Baty drive a ball hard to LF, supposedly his specialty..
  23. I was just about type that Rizzo scares me in this park more than Judge. He sits on top of the plate yet can't be jammed and looks to pull/uppercut everything.
  24. German through two innings on 20 pitches. The Mets have been seeing more than that in the 1st on a regular basis lately.
