  1. Not sure that Iglesias has the arm for SS at this point in his career, but hopefully that won't be a problem in the short term.
  2. The Dodgers have one more game in Atlanta tonight. LAD had scored 2 and 1 runs in the first two games of the series then had just 2 again heading into the 9th last night before exploding for 7 and their first win of the weekend. After tonight the Braves head to Cincy for a series. Arizona (+2 vs NYM) is in Colrado for a series starting later tonight Padres (+3.5) are hosting Houston
  3. Benjamin Grimm wrote: The Royals, also mentioned in that thread, finished at a relatively robust 56-106. KC, already guaranteed an over .500 season, are on pace for 89-90 wins this year despite a .346 win pct last year. But those kind of one season turn-arounds don't happen in baseball, only in the NFL ... (or so I'm told).
  4. Dodgers win, Braves lose. Those two, btw, have one more game remaining in that series tomorrow (Monday).
  5. So the night might not be a total loss after all as the Dodgers put up a five spot (and counting) in the top of the 9th off closer Raisel Igesies to break a 2-2 tie. 7 - 2 LAD Now 8 - 2 on b-t-b HRs oe: Did I say two HRs? I meant three (b-t-b-t- 9-2 It all started with an IW to Ohtani ... it didn't work.
  6. Brewers score two in top 10 but then give up three without even recording an out: 1B, 1B, 1B, HBP, 1B So we lose in the 9th while the Pads and DBacks both win in the 10th. And now the Dodgers just walked in the first run of the game in Atlanta. And now they get an IF grounder w/bases loaded and one out but do they get two outs ... NO, they get NONE due to a sloppy flip! Just everything turning to shit today.
  7. Oh shit, I totally missed the Tatis HR. Serves me right for only half paying attention while doing other stuff. Meanwhile, the Snakes have re-tied their game in the bottom of the 8th 8-8, DBacks still batting.
  8. Yeah, that was fun. MLB.com posted a list of the 30 leaders after Machado's SD record breaking HR a couple days ago so I cribbed the list and ran with it.
  9. Giants score just two runs in the entire series but pull out a 2-1 win vs Padres today And the Brewers have reversed their early crash and currently lead the Snakes 8-5 in the 7th
  10. Well, the Brewers have tied it in the 6th: 5-5 Pads @ Giants tied at 1 heading for the 7th
  11. 2-0 DBacks after 2. In the 3rd, Brewer pitcher DL Hall gets the first two hitters then goes: BB, HBP, BB, bases clearing double. 5-0 Didn't realize that the DL stood for Demonstrably Lame Pads/Giants scoreless in the 4th Dodgers @ Braves is the SNB game
  12. =ashie62 post_id=170331 time=1726428970 user_id=90] Diaz should have started the inning
  13. Iglesias is fun to watch.

  19. Guy goes to a Nissan sales event, winds up buying a Nissan, and yet calls it a "crazy story". Also, it sounds like he got played by the salesman. "They're going fast" ... Shit man, that's the oldest line in the book.
