    Interesting. So CHC v STL makes sense. (I know nothing about Iowa other than from Field of Dreams and the Caucuses every 4 years so I'd be curious to learn your other observations.)

    Great ending, especially with Tim Anderson (a non-Met that I like) getting it done. Manfred said that there will be another game next August and the Cubs Manager accidentally said that the Cubs are in the game. Too bad that the Mets don't play the Cubs that month.

    The Mets sure pay a lot of attention to hand motions and dugout celebrations. So do all teams, it's rampant in baseball. It is but they're on at least the 3d iteration of hand motions. Try winning and we can point a "we're number one" finger in the air (instead of the finger that the fans have been using of late).
