    Pettitte on the YES post-game said he thought Endy was going to bunt right there..... I should add that it sounded like Pettitte never even thought that Chavez would be doing anything other than bunting,which of course was a mistake.

    Watched the extensive SNY post-game,it's great to hear from Smith,Gomez and those guys who are experience this series for the first time,Smith was so wide eyed talking about it.... Wagner - "if you ask me one more fucking question about Joe Smith I swear,he faced one guy,big deal"...big laugh from Wags..he seems to take the piss outta Joe a lot.

With no DH being used during the three-game set at Shea, Giambi may be relegated to pinch-hitting duties this weekend. "Maybe by the end of the weekend it's a possibility," Torre said of Giambi playing first base. "I'm not going in planning on it."

The media is hysterical today,it's doomsday for the yankees according to them....Torre rolled out his old nugget about how the yankees can't win in the subway series...they have more to lose ,yyybbb...

    After the game Thursday Giambi took his razor to his days old stubble and shaved it,though he didn't shave his stache,he went with the look that he had last summer when the yanks were hot.... ] “I’ve got to get us hot,” Giambi said. “I can’t go as far as shaving my head, like the Mets.”
