I think it's great, with RJ talking about retiring it could be years before any pitcher gets a shot at win # 300.I wonder if Selig will go watch Glavine Tuesday.

Plot Outline: Two friends and business partners find their lives turned upside down when strange circumstances lead to them being placed in the care of 7-year-old twins. WOW,something original for a change...

Going by Transmonks data the Mets have a 500 W% at home wearing that combo. White Jersey w/ Blue Cap - 4 wins, 4 losses, .500 W%

Lots of chatter regarding Wiggi these days.... ] Matt Thornton of the White Sox is also on the Yankees' radar, but Jon Garland is not, according to the source. A deal for Tampa Bay's Ty Wigginton is still a possibility, but the Devil Rays aren't budging from their demand for Scott Proctor. According to a source, the Red Sox have joined the competition for Wigginton's services. The Twins and Padres have also expressed interest.

Are KC fans that beaten that they can't be bothered getting "historic" baseballs? I would like to hear John Sterlings call on the Rodriguez milestone homer, should be entertaining.

I expect that when SJR joins the trade he'll be pro-Yankee...sorry pro-Mets.

I don't think it matters any but given a choice, I'd prefer to have my journos to be critics rather than cheerleaders. Fair point.I was going to say that John Harper in the Daily News is very Anti Met and Pro-yankee but then today he has a glowing piece about Glavine.Still I usually hate his stuff. I kinda like Heyman, when he was at Newsday he even responded to a few emails from Edgy regarding a piece he had written.

I don't get the feeling att all that Alou would rather be on the DL ,of course what do I know.
  18. metirish
I don't exactly remember my overall view on Alou when he signed but I am fairly certain I thought he would be a good bat when healthy, knowing that he would be on the DL at some point.

We are allowed to change our view on players ira.

Alou can't be counted on,one of the things Minaya talked about was Alou coming back after the All-Star break and giving Omar and his team a few weeks to evaluate him before the trade deadline.

ira,I hear Omar will be giving a poetry reading in the Diamond Club this weekend, you should go. Who is the Reds player/coach talking to Hernandez in Steve's pictures?

Maz on SNY asking Keith what would happen to Milledge if Bob Gibson were on the mound after LM hit his home run, give me a fucking break you twat, yeah the dancing on the top step is silly but the whole team is at it.

Up by six runs,I would imagine him and LoDuca would have had a different game plan if the score was closer.
