No way?....is that a photoshop job?.......love the skyline fuckers

Very cool , if I weren't married................

The MFY's probably wouldn't admit to that , the ghosts and all that moved across the street...it's the kind of BS they are selling. The Montreal Canadians haven't won a damn thing since they moved out of the Montreal Forum but they still like to try and sell the idea that the ghosts et al moved with them, the NHL tries to peddle that BS too. I wish the MFY's a similar fate in their new home.

What a terrible way to die.

Nice work...we really need to make short work of this team. Not hitting all that much but apparently hotting up.

I just don't think our starters beyond Santana instill fear in the other team , I certainly don't feel optimistic when they take the mound.

First successful pitch at new Yankee Stadium: Dave Pero proposes to Heather DeCarolos Dave douchebag Pero, 31, proposed fiance Heather DeCarolis, 23, setting another first at the new Yankee Stadium The setting was perfect. The band was playing their favorite song. And she said yes. What an opening day for Dave Pero and his future wife. The 31-year-old Syracuse high school teacher went down on one knee yesterday to pop the question to his beloved, Heather DeCarolos, near Gate 6 on the East 161st Street side of the new Yankee Stadium. "There's nothing better than to kick off this opening day and this stadium by making a commitment to my future wife," said Pero, who had been planning his big move for weeks. First, Pero surprised his 23-year-old girlfriend by scoring tickets to the historic Yankee home opener. Then, with the help of his brother, Pero arranged to have Rochester-based cover band The Skycoasters nearby playing the Earth, Wind and Fire hit "September" just before he asked he asked his honey for her hand. "I'm stunned," said DeCarolos, just before they went inside to watch the Yanks take on the Inidians. "I'm on top of the world. I can't think of a better place for this to happen."

I would think that is standard operating procedure .

Without doubt the most disappointing loss of this young season for me , facing their ace and getting to him early but failing to put the hammer down as it were.

Delgado has got to be protecting the plate, yes/no? Hard to be critical of him though.

A questionable call sure enough but it looked letter high, maybe a bit outside .

That was an absolute bomb from Delgado, 440 foot says Gary. 3-0 Mets

Gary says that the Murphy cut off throw to Reyes last night was by design , it's a play they worked on all Spring Training. Manuel said he saw it before with an ageing Greg Vaughn in Tampa.

I guess CC didn't have a good day?

Maybe I missed it but was the first game at Citi Field "historic" in the way that this game is been written as?

Yeah Delgado has his Puerto Rican crew , just like Pete Flynn runs the Irish crew....

Why is the name of God would Willie be treated like that by the players? I guess Delgado's crew will avoid him , this is beyond silly.

I was surprised when I searched but there was very little if any tape of Fidrych pitching.

Pelfrey has tendinitis in his pitching forearm, will probably miss a start. I hope that's all.

But this really has nothing to do with any other teams , or Fred for that matter.

I guess that's why there is no room for busts , a paying patron could be in that spot.

It's more money for them. metirish Apr 16 2009 09:03 AM I guess that's why there is no room for busts , a paying patron could be in that spot.

" We do have room for one bust "
