  1. Good for him, just curious. What kind of wages would a guy like TT get for that gig.
  2. It's official , Mets announce the deal....
  3. After Reyes goes down with a season long injury and Uranus is entrenched at 2nd base Luis will shine as the SS.
  4. Stoner and Pridie DFA'd.
  5. As Irish soccer manager Mick McCarthy observed after Ryan Babel got fined by the FA for a twitter outburst They should rename it Twatter, he said, too many tweets make a twat. Heyman fits right in there.
  6. Dude , you start high and go lower , not low and then high.....fucks sake like.
  7. Edgy DC wrote: Eh... Sandy's position isn't represented here, but rather that they'll talk during spring training. Just vote OK.....
  8. "There... there's been... there's been a lot of talk... about this player. Maybe... maybe too much talk......"
  9. Some moves coming today.....Hairston is a major league deal , plus a move for Young , so two 40 man roster moves coming....this is all via Rubin but Collins says Castillo and Ollie are safe and going to ST.....Rubin speculates that Nikeas and or Luis Hernandez are vulnerable .
  10. That leg kick is so him on his follow through.
  11. Great post bucket....
  12. Jesus , how do you think of this stuff?(don't mean that in a bad sense) 1 - Mike Pelfrey - Nike 2 - David Wright - Mizuno 3 - Ronny Paulino - Louisville 4 - RA Dickey - Rawlings 5- Jason Bay - Easton 6 - Jeff Francoeur - Wilson I have a vivid picture in my mind of the Mizuno one but am not seeing beyond the hand...
  13. Well I am sure he knows all the stats and can view all the tape, I don't think it's at all unreasonable that he has stated he wants to see him for himself.....
  14. Reyes is a player I would hate to see playing elsewhere , still , I agree with Alderson here and Reyes actually.....it's his shot at FA and it's Alderson's chance to get a good look at him. I have little doubt if Alderson thinks he can get something done in season then he will.
  15. Levine does know that George Steinbrenner is dead right? sacred obligation?.....fuck of you fucking twat
  16. Ceetar wrote: metirish wrote: Collins names Pelfrey his Opening day starter........no surprise there...... Which means game 7, the Home Opener (which for some reason the wife thinks I shouldn't take a half day for..) likely goes to the #2, Dickey. I'd be happy with that, and I am sure you would be too.

  18. Collins names Pelfrey his Opening day starter........no surprise there......
  19. Joe Janish inspired by MBTN Inspired has this #27 Pete Harnish

The biggest negatives being that he'll soon require his own ZIP code and his cholesterol level probably contains a comma somewhere in the number. If Fielder comes expect this to be surpassed In a way I hope Pujols gets signed so the speculation doesn't build all season .

  22. No no , I mean Meche.....for a few seconds I was going Jerry Meche....who the fuck it that....a reliever?....
  23. Rubin Mets' arbitration scorecard The Mets had three arbitration-eligible players. Here's how it worked out at Tuesday's deadline to settle or exchange arbitration figures. 24. DocTee wrote: Gil Meche announces his retirement due to lingering shoulder issues Bullet dodged there. Wasn't he linked to the Mets? Perhaps for Ollie? I like Hairston as a pickup, too. IIRC Bucket wanted to throw a bucket load of money at him back then....right JCL?
