Good base running by Cowgill as noted by Gary and his coach when he descended the steps .......Keith is all over Gyorko........has been all day....I do like how Keith gets exasperated with players....or plays they should be making.

The getting there late, the cook taking his sweet time with the italian sausage , you can feel the tension in Al, no wonder he wanted a beer.

Can I just say, this is a great thread, good banter. For me Field of Dreams probably tops my list. When I knew nothing about the game(insert joke) I still got that movie, of course a lot of the movies listed here can say the same, you don't have to know anything about the game to enjoy the, says a lot about how good they are.

Yeah, he is having the surgery tomorrow, performed by Dr. David Altchek, he works out of Hospital for Special Surgery, so perhaps Johan will be at the game today.

Really looking forward to Bobby on SNY, I think he and Ojeda if they work together could be great.

Listening to Burkhardt on SNY and he made some pointed comments on Wheeler after Carlin set him up by mentioning Alserson saying Wheeler would not be coming up.. to paraphrase KB " we all know he is ready, there is not a scout or person I talk to that says differently, but for various reasons like money, eligibility and impact on free agency the Mets will not bring him up, he'll probably be up by the end of May".

Guess we don't have to worry about that option. yeah, good comparison with Pedro......some great, great nights.....2008 Johan was great, sucks.
