  1. Heard on 1010 WINS thins morning that Rodriguez is not seeking a deal and will as posted above fight this to the end....MLB apparently have a mountain of evidence against him. If he is banned for life what does that do to his contract?, probably be a fight over that too.
  2. as long as the Yankees have to keep paying him .So yeah a lifetime ban would not be good.
  3. Rodriguez looking at a lifetime ban according to sources http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2013/07/23/report-yankees-alex-rodriguez-is-looking-to-make-a-deal-with-mlb/
  4. Not another equipment guy is it?
  5. Young , he really has added to the team, weather it lasts or not I don't know, but I would think he has a future here.
  6. Worst loss of the season? , probably not but it sure as hell sucked......
  7. I hope they get him and are saddled with his $18 million contract owed next season......or that Sorryiano demands a contract extension....

  12. Fair fucks to turner for getting called back up and sticking around, he's like Joe McEwing with a Twitter account.....
  13. In that role he would probably be a good pick up for a team like St. Louis.....probably knock in the winning run in the WS.
  14. On the radio yesterday Josh was trying to make a comparison with Wayne Garrett ,I think his point was , Murphy is a guy fans look at and wish they had someone else and before you know it he's here a decade.....Howie kind of brushed it off with a " yeah but defense is not something you ever worried about with Garrett". Keith loves Murphy doesn't he? "pencil Murph in for every game yyybbb".

Not a bad way to be awoken, but seriously these Red Sox vs. Yankees games are long enough without adding in 8pm starts and extra innings to the mix. As sucky as they played last night, the Sox are the first team to 60 wins in MLB, so I wouldn't rule them out. wow , 60 wins. Amazing that they totally changed on the fly last season and turned that ship right around.
  16. Holy Shit! SANDY COHEN AP Entertainment Writer= SAN DIEGO (AP) — Superman is coming back, and he'll have a caped co-star. "Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con on Saturday to announce he is making another Superman film and it will include Batman — the first time the two superheroes will be united on the big screen. He declined to reveal many details, saying the script is just being written. He then invited an actor onstage to read a passage to hint at the story line. "I am the man who beat you," read Harry Lennox, before an image of the Superman logo, backed by the Batman symbol, flashed on the screen. Warner Bros. confirmed the first-ever pairing in a statement. Snyder reimagined Superman in his June blockbuster "Man of Steel," starring Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. The film has grossed more than $630 million worldwide. Cavill and Adams will appear in the sequel, Warner Bros. said. Reaction to the news stunned Twitter and left fans at Comic-Con giddy. "Personally, I love him," said Claudia Gomez, who was wearing a Batman T-shirt while her niece, Ana, wore a Superman shirt. Gomez, who traveled to Comic-Con from Mexico City, said the pairing of both heroes left her optimistic about a new Superman film. Benjamin Ha, who dressed as Superman to his wife's Wonder Woman, said bringing the two superheroes together will yield fireworks. "They're both alpha males," he said. Production is set to begin next year and the film is expected to be released in the summer of 2015. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/feedarticle/10893781

  20. Jerry Seinfeld rips Mets fans for booing players at 2013 MLB All-Star Game at Citi Field Comedian and perhaps Mets most famous fan says booing embarrassed him: 'The American League is not the Taliban. What are we booing Miguel Cabrera (for)?... I was very embarrassed by that.' What is the deal with Mets fans? This is what Jerry Seinfeld, comedian and longtime Mets shill is saying, according to CBS-New York, after Flushing fans booed players during introductions at the All-Star game at Citi on Tuesday. This is one of the lowest moments of my lifetime of Mets fandom, when the Citi Field crowd was booing (players) that they see as rivals to their Mets team, Seinfeld told his buddy Steve Somers on WFAN Wednesday. And Im standing there, I was in shock. I was embarrassed. I thought it was horrible manners. Seinfeld continued: These are the best players, in the game you love, that have come here to put on a show for you, and were booing them like 5-year-olds. As if theres some sort of real animosity... The American League is not the Taliban. What are we booing Miguel Cabrera (for)?... So I was very embarrassed by that. Jerry from Queens did like the way the Mets and their fans treated the farewell of Mariano Rivera, however. I felt redeemed by the reception that we gave Mariano Rivera and that brilliantly staged farewell. Staff and wire reports Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/mets/seinfeld-rips-mets-fans-booing-stars-article-1.1403109#ixzz2ZW8Wn9oS

  24. It's a small sample size but I recently took three friends separately(father/daughter first) to their maiden Citi Field outings, the responses were overwhelming positive , nothing mentioned about all the sponsors around the place.......I think a lot of this is finding things to complain about , the Wilpon's suck , their stadium sucks....the signs suck...none of that has ever interfered with my day out at Citi Field.
