The Red Sox game is called , a double header tomorrow, Schilling will start the night game and then start the last game of the season, I'm listening to the FAN and when did Ed Coleman turn into such a prick,he's full of scorn for just about every caller,yeah I know most callers are asking for it but Ed fucking Coleman sounds like Francesa.

From the rule book... ]BASES ON BALLS 10.16 (a) A base on balls shall be scored whenever a batter is awarded first base because of four balls having been pitched outside the strike zone, but when the fourth such ball touches the batter it shall be scored as a "hit batter." (See 10.18 (h) for procedure when more than one pitcher is involved in giving a base on balls: Also see 10.17 ( relative to substitute batter who receives base on balls.) ( Intentional base on balls shall be scored when the pitcher makes no attempt to throw the last pitch to the batter into the strike zone but purposely throws the ball wide to the catcher outside the catcher's box. (1) If a batter awarded a base on balls is called out for refusing to advance to first base, do not credit the base on balls. Burnitz has had a fine career, didn't he nearly retire a few years ago after his season in LA finished, got a call from the Rockies and has never looked back,one thing I liked about Burnitz was his honesty as a player, when he sucked he said it in a very honest way, always tries it seemed.

Yeah this is a year late, I like most I'm sure would be shocked if WWSB were not the manager next year, although with guys like Bill Madden in the Daily News stirring the pot you never know, to be honest I'd be more than happy to have Lou replace Willie.

As regards Cairo it's all very simple, he was one of Willie's guys, how many times did we hear that over the season, I highly doubt numbers even came into it until recently.
