  3. Gun to my head with the choices above, I go with Turner for hope and lack of a better option. Bobby Valentine was the best two I've seen in a Mets uni, but I guess managers aren't being included.
  4. Thanks for the great work, BG!
  5. Beltran 3 Tejada 3 Murphy 1 Byrdak 1 Parnell 1 Isringhausen 1
  6. Biggest comeback victory since 2000 says Howie.
  7. Books! Woohoo! That was a fun one...other than getting down 7-0. I needed a win today.
  8. Two outs! One more, Frankie.
  9. Triple. Tying run to the plate. No outs. For christ's...
  10. Pridie in for defense over Beltran in the ninth? Hmmm.
  11. Thole walks, Harris at third, Tejada up. Sac fly! Yea!
  12. Balk? This is the strangest at-bat ever....and it was Howie.
  13. Cappy bunts about as well as Pridie. Ugh.

  15. Parnell making me a little queasy there. Whew. Let's pull ahead and not ask so much of our pen.

  17. Hagin is FUCKING horrible. Nice job, Murph!
  18. This game is getting better and better the more folks bitch about Bay.
  19. batmagadanleadoff wrote: I'm leaning with Vic. I don't get all the Terry love. Because he's better than Randolph? Talk about having your expectations lowered. Check the poll above. I see zero "love". Vic's underwhelmed even with the shittiest of expectations, so I'm not sure about that one either.
  20. Bay's struggles suggest to me that his problem is mechanical and not that he has gone from juicing to non-juicing. The graphs provided seem to suggest that as well. He is just not getting to balls that he was getting too before. If his problems were only power related, I would be more likely to blame Citi or lack of juice, but he looks badly fooled on nearly every pitch thrown to him. I have to believe his mechanical problems have been pointed out to him by multiple people, but that he either isn't listening or it has begun to get into his head as well.
  21. Boom-Boom goes Beltran to cut the lead almost in half. 7-3 Bucs.
  22. Walks kill...or in this case, mutilate what is already dead.
  23. Christ...16 minutes later, it's 3-0 Bucs. Bloop...bloop...bloop.
  24. My underlying concern with Terry is the stories of the clubhouse that he lost in Anaheim. Granted, that was a long time ago, and I'm hoping and guessing that he has learned from whatever mistakes he may have made. I like the fire he showed after the game last night, and let's face it, the team deserved it. I'm thinking he needs to make sure this type of ranting only happens every once in a while at the lowest of lows. Otherwise, people may stop listening everytime he goes off.
