One fo my favorite "going-to-the-game" memories was seeing a single admission double header between the Mets and Brews at old County Stadium in 1998. I got Mookie's autograph that day, Mike Piazza was new to the Mets and I got to see Todd Hundley play LF. The Mets took the first game with a ninth inning rally and had no problem taking the late game. Good times! http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/MIL/MIL199807221.shtml http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/MIL/MIL199807222.shtml
Jeez...this thread had floated to the bottom of the 5th page... Mets doctors discovered a tear in [Edgy's avatar's] left elbow, and the southpaw will undergo Tommy John surgery, a baseball source told ESPNNewYork.com.

I don't move Tejada from the leadoff position. Ruben may need to be removed from that spot later in the season if he falters, but if it ain't broke... I honestly think with the way the team is playing, Torres may have to be useful off the bench as a PH and PR, but I don't fiddle with the lineup until there's a reason to make a change.
