Jack Tracy had a pretty strong minor league career for the 1960s Mets, but lacked the singlular defining skill to help him crack the show! Jim Tracy, on the other hand, managed a few mediocre seasons with the Rockies at the top of the decade, but hasn't skipppered a team since 2012, and finished 39th in the ten-year span, with 220 victories. Neither one gets you points, and that means a three-point fallback for you!

  5. .500 ball no matter how many games are played. No playoffs. OE: because the initial question was changed; 1) .500 record (30-30) 2) finish third 3) no playoffs 4) moot 5) Alonso will hit 22 HR. Later
  6. Let's keep this one going throughout what will be one crazy season (as far as it goes). After last night's game, Brandon Nimmo was asked what it was like playing in an empty stadium. He answered, "No knock against Miami, but it kind of just felt like playing in Miami." Later
  7. It doesn't have to be a major league park because seating capacity isn't an issue. What about Hartford? Half way between NY and Boston, so travel isn't an issue and it is only a few years old, so it would have up-to-date amenities for the players and good places for them to dine after the games. Just sayin'. Later
  8. =bmfc1 post_id=40898 time=1595128675 user_id=73] As Gary said tonight, for the first time since 1957 there will be there major league baseball teams playing in the State of New York.
