  1. Nationals got Seaver King and the Mariners took the ambidextrous guy. Mets get OF-P Carson Benge from Oklahoma State
  2. Fun fact: by the time Stanley was promoted to Bingo this year, he owned Cyclones all-time records for he 23-year-old holds the Cyclones all-time records for hits (186), runs scored (111), doubles (40), home runs (35), RBI (121), extra-base hits (81), outfield assists (19) and games played (209). Brooklyn's ascending from rookie to A ball helped. Stanley is 23 and been with the org since 17.
  3. They win the damn thing
  4. Carlos getting tossed was the moment this game went to shit
  5. Beat it, you Yankee-Lovin' Douchebag
  6. your suspicions would be correct
  7. =DocTee post_id=162137 time=1720712718 user_id=85] Lots of forgettable names on that list (at least to me): Toby Stoner, Elmer Dessens, Wilson Valdez, Brian Stokes.
  8. Nimmo's got to be an All-Star. He's deserving, a pure Met that the world deserves to see in action.
  9. Sneaky good trade by the Braves. Francoeur clearly outperformed Church for the remainder of '09 but while the Braves cut Church loose they saddled stupid Omar with 2 years of a diminishing, offense-killing Frenchy
  10. Church for Francoeur. I think we're a safe distance to assess this challenge trade and relive the memories of a near unanimous critical pan, plus a side of Tatis v Murphy https://phpbb3.leaptoad.com/mets/archives/12000/f1_t12034.shtmlhttps://phpbb3.leaptoad.com/mets/archives/12000/f1_t12034.shtml

  12. Tonight is college night, and incoming freshman Lunchpail is there. They let them walk onto the field pregame
  13. They showed this on the big screen last night along with galleries of his work between innings and after Geico stolen-base challenges if time allowed. I should say Marc and I disagree on the greatness of his Seaver-Piazza picture. Not that the image isn't good but I have only bad memories of that day and found their roles in walking to the new stadium together cheesy
  14. =Gwreck post_id=161941 time=1720577702 user_id=56] Can't remember ever seeing a 2-base Wild Pitch Wasn't ever worried since they never got the tying run to the plate.
  15. Not bragging but just ran into Steve J Rogers on the concourse
  16. Mets acquire RHP Phil Maton from TBR for future considerations. Joey Lucchesi is DFAed
  17. Tuesday Night Mets Club assembling in 514 as usual
  18. I can see him taking over for DJ Stewart or Gamel, some reps in the outfield wouldn't be a bad idea.
  19. 5. Don Aaseclown
  20. Edgy MD wrote: Somewhere, in an alternate reality, dwells a mysterious infielder that goes by the name of Oneil McNeil. Shaquille Oniel McNeil is even better, being 7 feet tall.
  21. 4. Jim Lindeman 3. Swoboda 2. Kranepool
  22. Alonso for the time being screws over Christian Walker who's having a superior year across the board
