  3. Anybody see anything wrong with the Astros advertising patch that says "OXY" They are against acne
  4. =Cowtipper post_id=129288 time=1687307431 user_id=166] Justin Verlander is going to throw a no-hitter.
  5. Alls I was saying was if the team is hopelessly out of the race it only makes sense to rid the ship of the guys who won't be part of the solution next year while hopefully making room for or acquiring guys who might. It was a hypothetical on top of a hypothetical.
  6. Had nine lives if not more as a Met, bobbed up and down a lot. I don't know how much. Somewhere along the way he lost uni No. 72 and took No. 85. I remember the trade of Addison Reed that brought him, Callahan and a third dude I can't recall. It was the same day Amed Rosario made his Met debut.
  7. I'm like. How is Scherzer gonna cough this up
  8. Not saying he won't be a guy someday but he's looked pretty bad as a big leaguer.
  9. =Gwreck post_id=129154 time=1687179289 user_id=56] What are you tearing down? Verlander, Scherzer, and Senga aren't going anywhere. Neither are Nimmo, Lindor, or Alonso. I'm in favor of getting rid of Carrasco and Megill but who do you use in their stead? You could probably trade Baty or Alvarez but do you really want to do that?
  10. If we have a 1-5 road trip I think hard about a big teardown.
  11. Pham. This year's Dark Horse Met 🐎

  13. I wonder what Raley will fetch at the deadline
  14. Brigham always pitching with his mouth open
  15. This was bad enough that I'd consider skipping the game next year, invest the $70 in something that won't kill me. Either that or pay up to watch among the more sophisticated. One thing I realized. 90% of MFY fans wear their hats backward, about 10% of Mets fans do

The Tuesday Night Mets Club cheaped out and bought the least expensive seats they could bear which was 14 rows up in 523 (shallow left field) where we were badly outnumbered by cheapass MFY fans. No friction except this one guy a 2 rows back who intended to start trouble but might have been retarded so we left him alone. I wish Scherzer pitched well enough so we could trade him, I've absolutely had it with that guy. i know he got unlucky with the soft hits but this isn't what we signed up for.
