    I saw Quintana listed as probable for Saturday. He's being skipped? I saw that DiComo is reporting that Blackburn returns to the rotation in Toronto (with Megill back to Syracuse).

    I have no problem with the bullpen management. The whole point of Butto in the bullpen is to give you 2 inning outings. San Diego is a very good team and is (significantly?) better than the Mets on an overall raw talent level. The better team usually wins, and a 2-2 record against them in San Diego is not a bad showing. The series losses to Anaheim and Oakland, splitting with Miami, getting swept by Seattle…those are the unacceptable outcomes.

    Helpful, but they need 2 in the 10th, so the speed of the lead runner is less relevant.

    They need to put Butto in the rotation. They needed to do it weeks ago, but it's not too late.

    This can't be a surprise. Blackburn had 7 straight seasons of sub-100 ERA+. He's a perfect example of a below-average player.
