    2 leadoff doubles -- neither run scores. 2 more runners at 2nd with 1 out (Double, Reyes single/steal) and they don't score either. Against Brandon Webb...ok, whatever. Against Miguel Batista? Not cool.

    Found while waiting for the rain delay: the all-time lowest sum total of uniform numbers in a Mets lineup. (August 30, 1962). Dickshot, I'll PM you the details.

    Thunderstorm passed through apparently. Grounds crew now removing the tarp (as of 7 EDT). Probably 15-30 minute delay in the start of the game.
