    If I'm counting right, the Mets have yet to use only Delgado (possibly unavailable) and Takahashi in this game (plus Santana, Maine, Pelfrey, and Livan). i wouldnt have wasted Santos here (pinch-hit reed for the pitcher not for castro) The Braves have yet to use Gonzalez, and their 4 other starting pitchers. I'd have to think that the longer Gonzalez vs. Takahashi goes the more in the Mets' favor things are because Gonzalez is less able to pitch multiple innings effectively.

    well done OO. i dont like schenieder, but being happy he is hurt is pretty damn stupid considering hte other options the Mets foolishly left themselves with. The front office must be kicking themselves over letting Flores go in the rule 5 draft a few years ago.
