As far as the forum goes. I can host it somewhere if need be. The move is not easy.

This should really be moved to a publicly readable section of forum. I 'ran' this joint for a long time and people need to know and remember that Ben G also pulled our asses out of the fire many many times and then took it under his umbrella when I gave up. He is our rock star. It's funny how he found us, but that's for another thread sometime. I'm on the Board of Directors for the SABR Casey Stengel NYC Chapter. I can email almost 700 NY baseball people to see if anyone is interested in taking over the UMDB. There are a lot of new young people. I can solicit a take over. If that sounds good Ben lmk. https://sabrnyc.org/

I was being fahseeshuss. I'm in Camp McNutty.
  4. kcmets
Who would be the emergency catcher if McNutty went elsewhere?

$80 million guaranteed for Diaz over four years seems rather nutty to me. $40 million over two years laden with incentives and whatnot and some kind of options for maybe the third. I doubt any team is going to do $80 for four and if they do... Hasta la vista, baby!

Thanks Ben, you've been above and beyond countless years. I just voted for the last four covers in the Archive. Closure.

I took 4 too. 5 would require a championship for me. Not that the June swoon and the dismal end of the season had a grass- hoppers tallywacker to do with Uncle Steve.

Actually, I made Donnie and his back older than they are. I should have said late 80's early 90's... but still.
  14. kcmets
And, 2021 back surgery is quite more advanced than it was in the late 1970's when Donnie would have had it. Not that he did.

Me? Hung up? I've had OCD surgery four times and it keeps flaring up.
  16. kcmets
Don Mattingly never had back surgery.

Mattingly? Not ringing a SIM Score bell. Who did he pitch for and when?
  19. kcmets
Had back surgery and missed an entire season and part of another some years ago. I forget the years, but I read that this morning.
