  3. Another day, another breathe ...
  4. It would be fitting for them to leave the bases loaded here in the 11th with no outs.
  5. =Fman99 post_id=22612 time=1569250222 user_id=86] Man, I'm still pissed that they got swept by the Cubs last month.
  6. Todd pops up. Rinse and repeat.
  7. I've often been kinda fascinated that Kranepool never gets a mention.
  8. =41Forever post_id=22756 time=1569367690 user_id=69]...as will Beltran. Might be a precursor to getting a number retired.
  9. Not retiring numbers all willy-nilly is really the only thing the Mets have gotten right through the many decades team-history wise.
  10. =whippoorwill post_id=22769 time=1569373473 user_id=79]Agreed there's more guys that should be added too. Not sure why the Mets are so stingy about retiring numbers but I guess you have to save some for active players.
  11. I hope he enjoys his pay on past performance.
  12. I can't believe we're on the hook with Lowrie for another year at $10 mil.
  13. Went with Wright only. The problem (which to me it's not really a problem) is the Mets have been so stingy with retiring numbers to go retro seems silly to me. Love everyone on that list for the most part, but not enough to retire a number. Let's all grow old together and fifteen years from now we'll do a whole bunch from the current roster after a sick ten-year run of excellence.
  14. I haven't read the thread yet (and can't for awhile) but is this some kind of the current holder of 36 will no longer be with us next week thing?
  15. =G-Fafif post_id=22687 time=1569344279 user_id=55] What a batch of winning portrayals! And a puppy!
  16. Bring home the bacon TNMC420, a win is a win!
  17. =Fman99 post_id=22660 time=1569288702 user_id=86] Aw hell. Maybe, cover first, guy.
  18. Holy crap the bed, Batman!
  19. MIA (54‑101) Caleb Smith (LHP, 9-10, 4.24) NYM (81‑74) Steven Matz (LHP, 10-9, 4.16) 7:10 pm - Citi Field
  20. No reason to! It will be a week we'll talk about forever, a quick bucket of swill, some next weekend nailbiting or something in between. I'm glad it's a full seven-day week of games. Let's get right back at it. #lgm #ygb #ymdyf
  21. Cool video, welled up a little. I need help!
  22. Howie presents the tragic number at 4. Any combo of Brewcrew wins and Mets losses sticks a fork in it all.
