And when I thought of Brock Pemberton, I pictured Ike Hampton, although they look nothing alike. Also, it turns out that our Brock Pemberton is not the Brock Pemberton. Okay, that's it. I'm done posting about Brock Pemberton.

I saw "Brock Peterson" and thought "Brock Pemberton" a guy who seems unlikely to still be active. Do Dilson and Travis really need to play five or six games in the minor leagues before they come back? I'm not so convinced of that.

Well, in that case, wouldn't switching what hand he's throwing with be the most extreme example of "tipping" pitches? I think the rule is fine as it is. It's simple and clear.

Murphy and Curtis Granderson are the only Mets who had played in every game so far this season.

I just fixed it. Thanks for pointing it out.

Maybe, I don't know. I think Jacob deGrom got Schaeferized pretty quickly last year if I remember right.

I think we already have two superhero nicknames too many.

Technically, the Mets are in second place. They're .002 percentage points behind Washington. If things go well tonight, then maybe we can write home tomorrow.
