Fortunately, this roadblock was resolved fairly quickly. Anyway, I had been neglecting "Mets Memories" for a long time, but have recently reviewed and approved a bunch of them: http://www.leaptoad.com/mets/memrecent.php?tabno=1

Clippard 1 Familia 1 Murphy 2.75 Niese 3.75 d'Arnaud 1.5

Most wins by a Mets pitcher. Jon Niese has moved into a three-way tie for 12th place, with Rick Reed and Craig Swan. Strange to think that Steve Trachsel is in the top ten. Niese needs eight more wins to knock Trachsel into 11th place. [indent:16a66e88]... 1. Tom Seaver 198 2. Dwight Gooden 157 3. Jerry Koosman 140 4. Ron Darling 99 5. Sid Fernandez 98 6. Al Leiter 95 7. Jon Matlack 82 8. David Cone 81 9. Bobby Jones 74 10. Steve Trachsel 66 11. Tom Glavine 61 12. Rick Reed 59 12. Craig Swan 59 12. Jon Niese 59 15. Bob Ojeda 51 16. Mike Pelfrey 50[/indent:16a66e88] On the strikeout list, Niese started the season only 1 behind Bobby Jones. He has a long way to go to get to the next slot, but if he can pass Jon Matlack he'll be getting into pretty elite company. [indent:16a66e88]... 1. Tom Seaver 2541 2. Dwight Gooden 1875 3. Johan Santana 607[/indent:16a66e88] Also, if he returns to the Mets next year, Niese has a change to move up a few notches on the Innings Pitched list: [indent:16a66e88]... 1. Tom Seaver 3045.2 2. Jerry Koosman 2544.2 3. Dwight Gooden 2169.2 4. Ron Darling 1620.0 5. Sid Fernandez 1584.2 6. Jon Matlack 1448.0 7. Al Leiter 1360.0 8. Craig Swan 1230.2 9. Bobby Jones 1215.2 10. David Cone 1209.1 11. Jon Niese 1027.0 12. Tom Glavine 1005.1[/indent:16a66e88] Meanwhile, it looks like Daniel Murphy, in what's likely his final season as a Met has a chance to move past Keith Hernandez in hits, but would need to return in 2016 (or go on a hell of a tear, which would be very welcome) in order to become the tenth Met to reach 1,000 hits. Darryl Strawberry 1025 10. Howard Johnson 997 11. Jerry Grote 994 12. Keith Hernandez 939 13. Daniel Murphy 920[/indent:16a66e88] Murphy needs only one more double to break his fifth-place tie with Edgardo Alfonzo, and three more to claim fourth place all to his own. Is second place in reach for him? Maybe... Meanwhile, David Wright looks like he'll be at the top of this list for quite a while. [indent:16a66e88]... 1. David Wright 375 2. Ed Kranepool 225 3. We're already there. The Mets have already gone 14 years without appearing in a World Series. (2001 through 2014). The previous high was 13. (1987 through 1999) Before that it was 12 years. (1974 through 1985). If this pattern holds, the Mets will win the pennant in 2015 but that will be followed by a 15-year drought, ending with a pennant in 2031.

I agree completely.

Judging by the reviews, this movie is every bit the travesty I figured it would be. (And I have to say, I'm very gratified by how bad the reviews are.) I hope that some day there's a Fantastic Four movie that respects the source material. This one certainly isn't it. I never would have imagined that there would be an FF movie that I would have no interest in seeing, but it's happened.
