    Also, that logo looks more like ICU than UCI. The "I" is clearly stacked on top, which implies (to me, at least) that that's the first letter I should be reading.

    I just looked it up. The team's name is officially "Anteaters". I think that would have been better on the uniform than "Eaters".

    I don't think David will retire by September, but the handwriting has got to be on the wall. I definitely admire how determined he is to come back, but the odds are looking steeper and steeper. And by that I mean not only the odds that he'll be able to swing a bat and throw a ball, but also that he'll be able to do so well enough to actually help a big league team. At some point he's bound to say, "I've done everything I can. Time to move on to whatever is next."
