Good point. I'm sure many Reds fans continued to say "Riverfront" instead of (I think) "Cinergy" and Giants fans probably said "Candlestick" instead of "3M." But this is a different kind of situation. Maybe some day Citi Field will have an interim period with no corporate sponsor, which could provide us with a name that we might want to cling to.

I wish that sentiment would catch on, but I think it's awfully unlikely.
