Guest 41Forever Guests Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Love the detail of seeing Dom at Shea!
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Nice to see Squints get on the board, something to build on for 2018. If September was his last as a Met, happy to see Jose go out with a bang.Cool cards as always!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Is that shot his 500th stolen base, or is he just raising his hands to air out his arms?
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I know Gsellman is at spring training by the patch -- but did you put him in the Sadecki Spot with that chain link fence?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 No, that's an actual unretouched photo.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Wow. This was a bad year.Great job BG. Cards are terrific!
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 What a wonderfully disheveled assortment of winners for the month when the Mets could barely keep it together. Love seeing a whole new batch of cards to send 2017 on its way. Ben Grimm, you're the Topps!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 Thank you!And I don't know if this is what you meant, but I do think that this is the first month this year that none of the four cards had been reused from previous months (or years).

Fresh faces from a stale season. Most appreciated. While I'm glad to have seen Reyes eke out a win for old time's sake, I remain surprised Cabrera is 0-for-12 in all the months he's been such a solid Met.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 I like Dominic Smith's signature, even though it looks like it says "Dan Swift".Note that even though his name is just a squiggle, he took the time to dot both of the I's in "Dominic".
