Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Noon start today remember.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 So much for the Conforto-third/Céspy-fourth thing.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 This is Plawecki's second straight start, no? Anything up with d'Arnaud?OE - no, Td'A started yesterday, and Gary said he's now splitting starts with Plawecki.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I like the way Cheech gets around on pitches.

Mets might want to see him more to get a better idea how/if Rene Rivera needs to be replaced.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Cespedes has homered, my phone said.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Cespy goes kaboom. Good to see him hitting like Cespy again.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Second no-hitter broken up with a solo HR in the last 15 hours or so.This one was not quite as dramatic as last night's, but we'll take it anyway.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Here's hoping d'Kong recovered the homerun ball. To judge by his photos, there is only a few dozen other folks at the ballpark to compete with him.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Not a bad inning for Montero despite the two runs: legit single, fluke single, misplayed bunt, single up the middle, then a medium Sac Fly w/a weak throwiow, unlike past outings, Rafael didn't panic, or start to nibble, or go into a shell

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Twitter users are saying shoulder dislocation, and you know, that's never good.We may see Tebow after all.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Gary just confirmed that it's a dislocated left shoulder. So nothing that would stretch into 2018. Gary and Ron speculating on whether he'll be back this season.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Well, I guess Nimmo gets to play everyday. This injury run is ridiculous.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Cheech = also good.I think the Mets ought to be more jazzed about all these good young guys we got.I know Conforto's arm just fell off but Rosie, Dommy, Zimmo and Cheech oughta play
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Flores whiffs with the baggs juiced

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 9th inning rally. Put on yer caps.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 down to our last out, tying run on 3rd.Cespedes intentioanlly walked putting GW run on base for Flores
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 THIS is the game where we don't get tack-on 9th inning runs.
