Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 I think I would welcome 6:40 starts at Citi for weekday games.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 How about getting Nimmo some PT while you're in the Mountain Time Zone?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Four straight hits and three runs in against Flexie.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 And what a bizarre tag and bizarre slide.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 This pitcher, maybe, uh, not so good at pitching.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 What's that now, about nine hard-hit balls in a row?Even the two outs were on smashes.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 And what a clout by Gonzo. Six straight hits. Five runzz home.Breaking pitches don't break in Colorado, kid.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Meanwhile, we're looking for [u:v8xk6lhe]A[/u:v8xk6lhe] hit.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I leave for a little and it's five-sniffle.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 The Mets feel like they are playing out the string.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 What's the deal with Reyes' eyebrows?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I'm glad to see the Mets get a hit, but ... since when is that a hit?
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Does Cespedes homer anymore?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 I'd've taken a single out.Bruce certainly homers.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Anything but a GiDP by Cespedes there and this is a whole new ballgame.Still not out of it obviously this early and at this park, but man that was bad timing.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Nice call on that fan interference call ... you rarely see anything other than an automatic double even though that's not the rule.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Wow, if all of the Colorado fielders have that same hole in their gloves, the Mets have a pretty good chance in this game.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 What are people thinking reaching into field of play for an $8 baseball?I hope he got ejected.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 He better've.[list:2g11ojwf]"If not for the triple, that run wouldn't have scored." — Keith Hernandez[/list:u:2g11ojwf]That's far from a certainty. In fact, had the inning played out the same way, he might have scored, possibly crossing over on the soft grounder to short, and coming on the ricochet off the pitcher.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Chasen Bradford becoming a man this evening.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Honestly, have you ever seen so many fastballs in the dirt?
