Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Wilmer healthy enough to play, but displacing Cabrera at second instead of taking over at third. Against a righty? Sure, against a righty.Well, that's understandable. I mean, T.J. is still hitting, right? But he sits too, in favor of Reynolds. It must be a Sunday lineup![table:ke3b35nw][tr:ke3b35nw][td:ke3b35nw][fimg=240:ke3b35nw]http://metsmerizedonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Mets-fans-painted.jpg[/fimg:ke3b35nw][/td:ke3b35nw][td:ke3b35nw][fimg=250:ke3b35nw]http://www.rantsports.com/mlb/files/2015/04/Screen-Shot-2015-04-14-at-9.26.17-AM.png[/fimg:ke3b35nw][/td:ke3b35nw][/tr:ke3b35nw][tr:ke3b35nw][td:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Jose Reyes, ss[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Michael Conforto, cf[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Yoenis Cespedes, lf[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Jay Bruce, rf[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Wilmer Flores, 2b[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Lucas Duda, 1b[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Rene Rivera, c[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Matt Reynolds, 3b[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Steven Matz, sp[/*:m:ke3b35nw][/list:o:ke3b35nw][/td:ke3b35nw][td:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Matt Carpenter, 2b[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Tommy Pham, lf[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Dexter Fowler, cf[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Jedd Gyorko, 3b[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Yadier Molina, c[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Stephen Piscotty, rf[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Luke Voit, 1b[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Paul DeJong, ss[/*:m:ke3b35nw][*:ke3b35nw]Lance Lynn, sp[/*:m:ke3b35nw][/list:o:ke3b35nw][/td:ke3b35nw][/tr:ke3b35nw][/table:ke3b35nw]

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Sometimes I look at the Mets lineups and think Terry is this generation's Moe Berg, a secret agent for Washington.Later
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 80 pitches for Matz to get through the first four innings.Lynn, on the other hand, just 44
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Shit effort again for the Mets. It's epidemic.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Amazing how well the ball carries in the bottom half of the innings but not in the top.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 We flat out suck. Conforto is starting to look lost like he did the 2nd half last season. The Mets needed many things to work out on the injury front for a successful 2017.And basically none have worked out. Oh well.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Not much Shaefer to distribute today....
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 The Department of the Obvious confirms this game sucked, this trip sucked, this roster sucks and this half-season was abysmal.Mets will trail the Rockies by 10 1/2 games when Colorado comes to town on Friday for three. Putting aside how many teams are between them and us, the slightest of slight second-half chances comes down to sweeping them next weekend to put us 7 1/2 back...but five in the loss column. Yes, very slight. Delusionally so.If somebody decides to start trading veterans for prospects (even suspects) between now and then, that's OK, too.
