Maybe we should advocate for a dual 3rd-baseman system. We station two guys out there where T.J. will field the ball and then hand it over the Wilmer to throw it over to 1st.
It won't end our errors on grounders but it may cut them down to merely 1 or 2 per game.

Yeah, they used some front-end guys in low-leverage work against a last-place team, but it's something.
