Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Still 4-1, but the Brews have loaded the bases with one out in the seventh.Salas got ahead of everybody, but couldn't finish 'em off.Blevvy coming on for the Mets.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Asdrubal with some muffy-ness.Weird how Fman has better live tv than me.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 That's just got in my craw and is gonna sit there...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Meanwhile, six more walks (in 7 innings) plus a HBP.If you're going to give up runs, at least make them earn it.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Keith's focus on how the Brewers runner on first didn't score on the error was amusing in a macabre kind of way.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 It's not just that they lose. It's that they give stuff away.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Unbelievable, the various ways this team finds to assist the opposition. Walks, hit batters, errors, base running gaffes, this team just keeps finding ways to make it difficult on themselves. Cabrera circled around under that infield pop up like a drunk playing musical chairs, then ultimately didn't even get a glove on it. Hell, even Luis Castillo got a glove on the ball. Hopefully, the Mets can overcome their lack of execution and pull this game out.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Okay, tie game going to the bottom of the 9th. Let's end this game.Let's
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Whattayasay we win this fucking game, Right. Fucking. Now!?!?!!!

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 One way or another, I think Conforto puts an end to this one. If only Wilmer can get on base.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 And yet another extra inning game where the EI's don't start until the game is already 3-1/2 hours in.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Yeah, what the fuck, seriously. They should get Red Bull as a sponsor, I'm tired as hell.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Smoker got his first pitch over without giving up a homer.#winning
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Mets have been the beneficiaries of Ball/Strike calls more often than not tonight.I hope Smoker is geared up for multiple innings, but that 24-pitch 1st inning for him doesn't help.Easier just to win the Fucking. Game. Now.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Well damn that's some lifeless at bats in the 10th and I'm all done. Will put it on my headphones in bed if they're still playing at that point.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Both sides go down on 3 Ks in the 10th, but the Brewer hurler needed about half as many pitches.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 (edited) One baserunner since the Duda HR in the 6th, and no one else has even threatened to get on!In a way, though, unless d'Arnaud was going to hit a walk-off, making an out might have been better than say hitting a single as it keeps Smoker in the game.A pinch hitter would have brought in Ramirez. Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Smoker threatening to throw a third inning, though.
