Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Sewald, Edgin, and Pill left in the pen, and Pill is already penciled in for the start on Tuesday.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 d'Arnaud's brother is named "Chase" in more than one sense.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Pill comes in to pitch the 10th. I guess he won't be starting on Tuesday.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Oh, man, not a lot of happy faces in the Pillbox.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 So far, Pill's debut looks like more of the same from the Mets bullpen.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I feel like Terry is a contestant on Hollywood Squares saying: 'I'll take Josh Edgin for the block'
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 The players change, but the results are still the same. There is no relief from our bullpen.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Looking forward to a new GM and a new manager in 2018. F Terry. F Sandy. F these lousy relievers, each one just as bad as the other. And F Sandy twice for not doing a F'in thing this off-season after getting Yo on the cheap except sitting on his arrogant, lazy ass. And F F. Wilpon, J. Wilpon, Saul Katz and Bernie Madoff. I miss anyone?

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I think after Pill gets the big 2nd out, leave him out to to face the lefty. Not like Edgin is some kind of world beater.
Methead Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 This team is pissing me off.Lagares was a stud out there though
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 F.U.B.A.R.I'd like to see this team get younger in what almost has to be a rebuild starting late July.It is comforting to know Nimmo, Cheech, Rosario and Dom Smith may shine soon.I just don't see a recovery coming in the 2017 Mets. I hope they don't quit on Terry but at some point it will feel like a job, and people quit jobs.My expectations are now nil and indifference will be bliss.LGM
Guest cooby Guests Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Watched til a tie then went to bed. You are telling me we blew it. This bullpen blows sucks and stinks. And is awful

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Not in the Schaefer box score: Lagares and Cabrera (particularly Lagares) each made huge defensive contributions.
