Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 I was a top Mets pitching prospect. For a few minutes there, I may have been the top Mets pitching prospect, and that's saying something. But a downturn in performance followed by a diagnosis of a torn URL, followed by Tommy John surgery followed by a long rehab, and now I'm little more than a guy, if still a guy whose "top prospect" brand is still strong enough to force the Mets to protect me by putting me on the roster.Anyhow, I'm still a talent, and still a handsome devil when I'm not rocking a stupid beard and quasi-mohawk. And I put up some decent returns in the AFL and I'm hoping to get back on track. Fast-track? Slow track? Starter? Reliever? What's it gonna be?[fimg=329]https://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/-3p_3i7ob78xpIbVoQKftgHD-to=/0x0:1200x800/1310x873/cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/47558835/marcos-molina-donovan-2015.0.0.jpg[/fimg] [fimg=391]http://www.milb.com/assets/images/1/8/2/91646182/cuts/640_Molina_Gordon_Donovan_MiLB_efjs2i0h_upahvrhy.jpg[/fimg][fimg=330]http://mets360.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/tumblr_nlqh8mSk2g1sirxiro6_1280.jpg[/fimg] [fimg=390]http://content.sny.tv/assets/images/3/2/6/206708326/USATSI_9619852_agvmj6lf.jpg[/fimg]

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 On the other hand, not a popular guy for predictions.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Will pitch some, probably for a minor league affiliate of some kind. Strike out a few guys, look good doing it. Will be invited to Spring Training 2018.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 I don't know anything about this guy, his stuff or whatnot. I know there's some prospect juice about him but he's gonna have to make me drink another half gallon before I can predict a big league career. Go squeeze some oranges, Marcos, and call me later.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Waiting cautiously to see how he recovers from surgery.Maybe extended Spring Training leading to increasingly longer appearances in A+ before finishing the year at AA.Later
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Nothing Metly in 2017, and probably not in 2018 either.
