ESPN reported that voting totals (not released to public) were:

Schuerholz: 16 of 16 ballots
Selig: 15 of 16 ballots
Piniella: 7 of 16 ballots
Everyone else named on 4 or fewer ballots

That's surprising. I don't think it's particularly biased to suggest that Johnson's career outshone Pinella's as both a player and a manager.

Pinella had a short tenure in the GM career, but I don't recall it being particularly distinguished.
