metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 deGROM looks like he has it tonight
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Was Cosart running backwards there? Reyes seemingly got him by 25 feet.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Two things, here:1) Be OK, Jos.2) You could overhear one of the technicians saying, "We've got a great shot of the ass, here," and Gary laughing off mic.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Oh, let's please get this young man a cushion to work with.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Stony Brook coach being interviewed. And dammit, San Diego gets a hit.Stupid school.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 They got deGrom all of one run in Detroit last week too ... and that one didn't end well.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Well, there goes that narrow margin.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 d'Arnaud had his back foot out of the box when he bunted that, leaning backwards on the inside pitch, and so was really slow out of the box.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Johnson gets a long fly ball to CF and Jankowski ran forever to make an over the shoulder catch
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 De Aza might've been able to tag two bases on that.I've always wanted to see somebody try that play.

If he gets into trouble then bring on Familia.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 And so it goes. But, y'know, when your offense consists of four singles (two of them infield) it's tough to blame the pitching.(now five hits)

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 You know what's nice about these Mets? They don't tease you by getting the potential winning runner on base and then stranding him. That would require getting someone on base.
