I'll give you credit for Shamsky, but not for Paquette because I missed Paquette, too. How the hell am I supposed to know that Paquette once hit 20 HR's? You think I checked every single Met when I set up this furshlugginer quiz? That would've taken me like all day.

I got one more on my list.

Incorrect because Mcrae had a 20 HR season for the Mets. Also, it was his only 20 HR season ever. So there's that, too.

Charlie Neal

Winner! Winner! It's Charlie Neal who's the last Met on my list. Neal broke 20 HR's in 1958, the Dodgers first season in LA, where the left field wall at the baseball configured Coliseum was just 250 feet away down the line and 320 feet to left-center. A 40 foot screen was erected to compensate for the absurdly short dimensions, but still, a fly ball hitter could have a field day exploiting that side of the stadium, which Neal did.
