I almost forgot last time it was my turn too.

Yanx @ Mets, 7:10 PM, on your usual local station plus ESPN for youse outta-towners.

I don't believe any starting lineups have been posted yet because no one knows who is actually on which roster at this point so that's going to take a while to sort out.

We are pretty sure that it's still going to be Verrett vs Sabathia. C.C. Roider (probably not, but I couldn't resist the joke) is having a strange year and not just because he's sober for the first time in a while, but because he's alternated stretches of stinking and shining that make observers think that he's either done or back to his dominant days of yesteryear.
In a stretch running from May 4th thru June 10 Sabathia allowed [u:1o35k2yj]a total of 4 earned runs across 7 starts/44 innings[/u:1o35k2yj]. In the six starts since then he's coughed up 31 earnies in 42 innings.

Pathetic lineup.

Ruggiano?

I was wondering if De Aza gets the boot when Bruce arrives. But I forgot about Ruggiano.

Thumb surgery. I know, looks like he's on his death bed.

I was watching the videos on the MLB AP, and hearing about Beltran. And -- how long have David Cone and Ken Singleton been broadcasting for the Evil Empire? Don't they have Al Leiter, too?

Ruggerino, he seems to have trouble with balls in deep center.

Singleton since forever ago, Cone more or less since he retired but only now and then. That booth has tended to be the lead p-b-p guy (Michael Kay) and a revolving cast of about nineteen different color guys.
OK 19 is a bit of an exaggeration but there have been a bunch.

Ruggiano hurt himself rounding the bases.

The 7 Line. They will be in attendance at all of the Subway Series games.

Probably Eduardo Perez (son of HoF Cincy player Tony). Has kind of a deep voice slightly tinged with a Spanish accent.
Former pitcher Dallas Braden is the other ex-jock - the guy with the receding, curly hair if they show the booth. I forget who the p-b-p guy is, some nondescript ESPN staffer.

He flied out and grounded out ... couldn't have been a whole lot of 'rounding'.

Whatever it was, we now have all three RH-hitting OFs not available, and on a night when Sabathia is pitching.

Thank you all for your help! I think you're right FK about Perez.

Perez has an inside out voice.

Ha, nice hitting by Wilmer. Taps an infield single. If he would learn to go to opposite field with authority...nice hitting but that wasn't a sound opposite field swing.

lil 'd hits one to opposite field with some authority. Niiiice.
