Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Ruggiano goes where God leads him and Lord knows we could use some divine intervention. Some advice to Justin: avoid twitter.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I vaguely remember Ruggiano with the Marlins a few years back ... (looking it up) he had one good partial year and got rewarded with increased playing time the following season and couldn't match the stats.Since then he's been a part-timer with the Cubs, Mariners, Dodgers, and then got 4 ABs with Texas this season before getting released. Didn't hit that well at AAA Round Rock either.BR/TR, 34 y/o.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Good WW material /creepalertRH bat, can play CF. you're hired This Met season really reminds me of the MFYs season a few years back when they had a bunch of AAAA guys in regular roles like Lyle Overbay.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 When they posted the lineup at Citi, there was a lot of 'huh?'
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 So, um, yeaaaaaaah. Not exactly Carter-in-'85 tonight, huh?
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Looked like he nearly killed himself trying to get that shot in center.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 I thought he broke his neck. I suppose that would have been par for the course.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Or Hurdle-in-'85, yeah.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 He's like a total cliche of the guy we need: Fearlessly leaps! Brazenly steals! Aggressively charges! Yet winds up without the ball, without the bag, and without the ball, respectively.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 My modest goal is to get more juice out of Ruggiano than the team got out of Rick Ankiel.
