ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Cespedes could have been put on the DL.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Travis homers tonight, he just does.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 "Test" his quad? What kind of gobblygook is that? I didn't think they left anything to players these days. Wouldn't this "test" be a scheduled thing?

They have ground to make up, a short bench doesn't make that any easier. They rehab-ed Conforto, for what?

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) If I bought the Mets the first thing I would so is totally re-work the medical side. All these current quacks can go.Reyes working an at-bat in the 1st. A 2-2 bloop single. This Eickoff j-off has been trouble for us. Or we lit him up. I can't remember which.lolDidn't he 2 hit us or something? Edited July 16, 2016 by Guest

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Can we hit Granderson 8th? I mean, he can still hit solo home runs there.

You got the eyes.I better start playing the lottery.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Awesome. Let me know should I need to relocate. The way the Mets hit, I suspect they could collectively benefit from thorough vision examinations.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Verrett with a nice down and in pitch to righties tonight. Looks to drift in towards the handle. Only Franco could get the head out on it and I don't know if that pitch could be hit much harder. Lined out hard to center. I think that pitch is unkaBOOMable.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Verrett vs. lefties? eh, not as good.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Granderson with a leadoff double to open the 4th. The mets need to bring him home to regain the lead.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Nice rip. I love how Philly OFers give up on the drives. That may have had no chance but it looks cheesy. And the best catches are the ones you never expect to make.Niiiiiiiice. Again a sac fly plates another run. This is what I'm talking about. Okay, now you can hit a few homers.2-1 Mets

Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Verrett is holding his own. He needs some hits -- and Curtid to stop hitting into double plays.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Get 'em on, hit 'em into the tailor-made double play.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Well, that was a bullet dodged. Thanks, Chooch.Verrett labored mightily, but held them to two runs over six.
