"Test" his quad? What kind of gobblygook is that? I didn't think they left anything to players these days. Wouldn't this "test" be a scheduled thing?

Probably should... do other teams handle injuries and injury reporting
as poorly as the Mets do? They have ground to make up, a short bench
doesn't make that any easier. They rehab-ed Conforto, for what?

And if you're willing to write him out of the next 8 games he still could.

If I bought the Mets the first thing I would so is totally re-work the medical side. All these current quacks can go.

Reyes working an at-bat in the 1st. A 2-2 bloop single.
This Eickoff j-off has been trouble for us. Or we lit him up. I can't remember which.lol
Didn't he 2 hit us or something?

I mean, who hasn't?

Reyes steals 2nd! That's what I wanna see. Speed at the top.

I would like to respectfully submit my name for consideration for the position of optometrist to the Mets on the off chance you win the lottery and buy the team.

You got it. You got the eyes.

I better start playing the lottery.

Awesome. Let me know should I need to relocate. The way the Mets hit, I suspect they could collectively benefit from thorough vision examinations.

Verrett with a nice down and in pitch to righties tonight. Looks to drift in towards the handle. Only Franco could get the head out on it and I don't know if that pitch could be hit much harder. Lined out hard to center. I think that pitch is unkaBOOMable.

And they should probably eat more carrots and shit. I'll leave you in charge.

Damn, Nimmo just missed one.

It's 98 in the shade out there.

They're Phillies fans, they're not all that bright.

Granderson with a leadoff double to open the 4th. The mets need to bring him home to regain the lead.

Nice rip. I love how Philly OFers give up on the drives. That may have had no chance but it looks cheesy. And the best catches are the ones you never expect to make.

Niiiiiiiice. Again a sac fly plates another run. This is what I'm talking about. Okay, now you can hit a few homers.

2-1 Mets

KINGS, I tell ya!

Good thing because we're hitless once again w/RiSP
Statistically it comes down to 'only' 0-for-6, but no Met has a hit after coming to the plate 10 times so far with a runner on 2nd or 3rd: K, GO, FO, SacB, SacF, Pop-Out, GO, HBP, SacF, GO

Not complaining about the two runs mind you but mixing in a hit every once in a while would be nice too.

Verrett is holding his own. He needs some hits -- and Curtid to stop hitting into double plays.
