TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 This series represents a wide swing in the standings based on the outcomes. It makes for exciting baseball before the break.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Yes it does. The Harvey news has sucked most of the wind out of me.Logan Verrett is going to start one of these games.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 With the ASG break coming he'll probably only miss 2-3 starts, tops. I'm guessing there's nothing physically wrong with him anyway.Give him an extended bit of time to work on things without worrying about the next start. It's not like they can't replace what little he's been giving them lately anyway.

soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I thought for sure Wilma would get a start at 1B today.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Giolito was born 383 days after Colon was originally signed by the Indians. That's crazy.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Second walk for Giolito. Hopefully, he brought some of his wildness from AAA.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Harper is really strong, kids.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Now 4-3 in a VERY solo-homery game as Jos Reyes refamiliarizes himself with the Citi Field bleachers.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Gah . Amazing that he's never walked. And that was ball 4,lol.I saw lil d's shot. Not Harper'sBIG PURPLE REYES!!!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 This is that super prospect from last week on the mound?Man, balk, he's fallin' apart.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Baker comes with the hook. Ollie Perez time.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Reyes hit the heck out of that! I'm liking this game a lot better now.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Impressive. We answer right back, one of my favorite things to do.4-4 Mets
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Two steals on one pitch? That's usually two weeks' output for the Mets. And look, Cespy is sliding and everything.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Wowzers. Double steal!!!!!!eww, that was close too.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Gutsy call with a lefty at the plate, too!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Muffy in position, once again, to stick it to us.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Oh maaaaaaaaaan. This will be reversed. Gah, that was a HUGE DP.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Hey, an inning-ending double play!Hey, a potential challenge! The rule would work so much better if you forced teams to make challenges based on the evidence of their own eyes, rather than getting to review the tape themselves.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 I have no idea what the rules of this game are anymore.
