Guess not entirely unexpected, but it is sad news. These things
don't get better and now it's top to bottom.

I guess we can say we've already witnessed the beginning of the end, last season (or the 2011 back injury may be the real root). But I don't want it to end yet. Please don't let end yet. There is more to David's story. There is a happy ending, hopefully with a ring, but at this point I'll settle for just the happy ending. Catching Strawman would be a nice addition to the story, and the accomplishment would make me very happy.

Now it's one step at a time. I want to see him get the HR record.

The Wright WalkOff ToppsNOW cards just came today. It caught Wright full smile with his teammates mobbing him. I was so happy when I saw the card earlier. Then I read this and I view it with a tinge of sadness. I don't want David's story to be over yet.

If anyone can come back from this it's Wright.

4 to 6 weeks of no David (at least). Time for Sandy to step up and do something besides recalling Matt Reynolds.

Terrible news.

Can we start a different DW thread? Sometimes I don't open this one any more. Maybe a DW's getting some well deserved rest thread or something?

I'd like to see Reynolds get more playing time, a few games in a row (okay, a few more) and see what he can do. Why do they keep shuffling this guy under the rug. They ran Campy out there day after day even though he was clearly not getting it done on any basis. I think he popped one and got one important hit.

I think Reynolds could be the answer to a few of our problems. Of course, you guys know what a brown nose I am for Mets players but this is more than me going RA!RA! SIS! BOOM!BAA~!

The only part of this vid that applies is when MJ says "SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN DO!"
(girl?-Gah! omit the girl part).
