The Mets do not consider the operation serious, and said in a statement that they do not expect it to affect his rehab timeline.One suture knot from Wheeler's March 2015 Tommy John surgery never dissolved, necessitating the surgery under local anesthetic. For that reason, I think it would be an arthroscopic procedure, with viewing, freeing up and removal through a thin tube. Later
