Phillies TV Crew aren't that bad all things considered.....old friend Tom McCarthy and Matt Stairs I believe

I hat Stairs. Always enjoyed McCarthy even with all that Phillypoo on his nose.

Stairs is a bit like Keith, not your classic smooth announcer type but very knowledgable on hitting and, IMO, a pretty good listen.
Also he's originally from Nova Scotia (an oddity in itself) and lived in Maine during his off-seasons where he'd spend his winters coaching HS ice hockey.

Terrible luck for Darno.

Whatthewhat? 5 innings, 76 pitches, and Dutch is pulled for a guy who barely hits better than him (IF that)?

Cold spring days and precious, precious arms make for short workdays.

But don't be given insults like that to Wilmer.

Point of clarification: It WAS De Aza initially announced. Then, once the Phils called for a lefty, Terry went to Wilma.

On the whole Wright has been playing a great 3rd base. Back schmack. Even that errant throw was played nicely. Probably will cost us a run though.

And there's that run.

Hansel is so flat right now.

Wright lost the popup in the wind, and the runner, not realizing the batter was out anyway, broke for second.

Blevins magic.

I'm watching with the sound way down: Was that an infield fly rule double play???

Yup!

I pulled that off intentionally once or twice during softball games where I'd "miss" the pop-up and fool one of the runners who didn't know the rule ... but I'm not sure I've ever seen that in a ML game.

I've seen it in Little League once or twice :)

Cespedes only wears the neck part of the turtle neck so we can still see his bling. How thoughtful :)

Oh I hope!

This is fun! I'm watching with four of my cats (they are watching with their eyes closed)

Bastardo is not fooling me but he's certainly fooling them. K's two in a row.
