Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I'm a big, Canadian right-hander who lost his track after shoulder surgery, and now I'm back. I even know how to wear a beard right. You had scarcely heard of me, and now I'm on your team and you're NEVER going to forget me. Who's your failsafe if Jeurys Familia doesn't turn out to be the closer we're all hoping he'll be. Well, I think it's Big Jim Henderson, THAT'S who! I replaced John F. Axford and if need be, I can replace Jeurys, too. What do you think?[fimg=400:241410jl]http://m.mlb.com/assets/images/5/1/0/165023510/cuts/henderson_monynht6_qqjakh22.JPG[/fimg:241410jl] [fimg=405:241410jl]http://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/2016/03/05/images/mlbf_546337483_th_49.jpg[/fimg:241410jl]
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 He's a good story so far. Hardly the most intimidating looking giant the Mets ever had but throws like he means biz.My prediction: Not as stylish as Rickey Henderson, not quite the fan adulation afforded Steve Henderson but much better than Ken Henderson.56 games, 61 IP, 4-4, 3.33, 66 Ks, 2 saves
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I love Canadian meat. Unfortunately, to my third-eye-nose, this smells less like back bacon, and more like last year's Blevins.12 G, 11 IP, 2.45 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 14 K, 3 BB, 1 HR, budding fan-favorite... until a freak injury in early-mid May.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I think he'll be the 8th inning guy by the end of the season if his arm holds up.Stats: Humina-humina. He's a relief pitcher. He'll throw some innings and give up a run occasionally.

And he'll keep that up as the 8th inning guy.Looking at 38 holds in total.Later
