Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Heard rain is in the forecast.Mets have not won 11 straight games this spring.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Hopefully they'll win 11 straight in April!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Mets load the bases in the second but come up MT.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Mets down by one.Wilmer playing first made a handsome shovel pass to Gilmartin, in a play that highlighted both his dextrous hands and his not-so-nimble feet.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 End of six. Marlins 1, Tejada-Exilers 0.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 We go to the bottom of the ninth. Mets being two-hit by four Marlin pitchers, none of whom went to Stony Brook.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Grounds to the mound, and the pitcher "Ege" no relation) mishandles but gets Campbell by a hair. (Replay might have given Campbell the base.)Oh, wait. That's the ball game, for lack of a better term.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 "Winless" streaks mean little to me. Multiple extra innings are chances not given in these ST games. Ties are for soccer.I'm glad they are getting out of the system now. Once Opening Day arrives, I'm hoping this will all just be a bloody bladder clot that has passed.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 The streak is worth noting, and even BIGPURPLE posts need some STwarming up. A big purple 13 is not something I'm looking forward to heading out to a kinda travel-wa$ting and $illy trip to La$ Vega$ going into the season just to fill a AAA ballpark for two days. Note they're toocheap to televise the games.Early start tomorrow.
