Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Mike Puma tweeted from the BBWAA dinner on Saturday that the Mets might not be done adding to the bullpen.Any guesses on who the last guy would be? You'd certainly think at this point it would be a righty.Parnell is a candidate I guess. Before the off-season, I guessed that Sandy would take a flyer on a starting pitcher who had a down year (or was injured) but still has life on his arm. I guess Doug Fister kinda fits this profile, but reports say his arm is dead. I was thinking Tim Lincecum might be a dominant setup guy too, but you'd think someone would give him a shot at starting. Initially I was thinking of Mike Pelfrey for this, but he ended up getting stupid money.

Either might cost a little more-- Hunter in years, Clip in AAV and years-- would be ideal, but...
