Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Pineda out of the game. Bases loaded for the Captain. Need a base hit bad.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Let's go, David. (Especially with them leaving the lefty in).
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Cespedes and Wright both go down in what could have been a big inning with some meaningful contact out of either.Uribe for Duda. Hmmm. HMMMM.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Wright hitting around .400 against lefties since returning in August. Goes down swinging. Bases loaded with 2 outs for Uribe. One more time big guy.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Uribe follows suit by striking out on a fastball around his eyes.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 This game is eroding all of the good feelings I had after last night's game.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Girardi thinks he's managing an All-Star game. Five pitches to throw a four-hit shutout and he's not done yet.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Really Girardi ... you need THREE relievers to close out a five run inning? And you can't even fall back on the stat argument because even with two guys on the tying run is not yet on deck so no save for Miller even if he doesn't (heh, heh) blow it.
Guest cooby Guests Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I love an IGT that Rockin Doc can participate in!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 He's welcome to participate in all of them!

Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Season's over, man!Mets are gonna collapse.Yankees and Nationals in the World Series.Yankees hoist the trophy for 28th time.

As with other members of the CPF that don't live in the northeast, televised Mets games are a rare comodity. I can only see the Mets paly when their games are on ESPN, WGN (Cubs), or TBS (Braves). The silver lining is, of course, that Yankee games are even less likely to be available on our local television market.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I recommend a subscription to Extra Innings.
