Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I heard he and Tony Bernazard have had epic fights that last three days. They head out to a ghost town in Nevada and just tear the place apart.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Man the Mets have been getting a lot of points from wild pitches, balks, and bases-loaded walks.Nice when you can get it, but you can't get through the playoffs on gift runs.

Earlier in the year we infrequently had runners at third base to take advantage of balks and wild pitches. The vastly improved and much deeper offense puts far more pressure on pitchers and the defense which often leads to the mistakes that turn into runs. It's nice when the opposition helps your offense out, but the Mets now are pressuring teams into making unforced errors.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Good enough points about gift runs coming to the Mets, certainly. Some Yankee-lovin' mook in Jeannie's seat back there. Not a good omen.
