nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 things have been going the Mets way for about the last 2 months, there had to be a bump somewhere, lets hit it now against the Marlinsand not this week against Washington or in the playoffs. no worry yet.

A bump in a bumpy weekend (Thanks Boros). If things somehow fall apart this will forever be known as the Recker's Boner game. Anyone who got excited by reading that better rearrange their priorities.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Blame Recker all you want, but this was a game where they pinch-hit a HR and we pinch-hit a GiDPWe also had a HR plus three 2Bs a single and a walk in the first 4 innings and yet scored just once out of all that. And our only hit w/RiSP was the infield single that loaded the bases and it wound up neither knocking in a run nor setting up a run because it came right in front of d'Arnaud's GiDP
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
