I am getting wearing of managers and players saying we "battled" after a loss.

Per CBS Noah, "We battled our fannies off until the tail end" And he wants to be called Thor?

I got nothing against a guy praising his teammates, even in loss. I do, however, have something against the superhero nicknames.

I'm totally with you on that. I see the connection between Syndergaard and Thor, but think it's rather flimsy. I see no similarities between Matt Harvey and Batman.

You'll never catch me referring to Syndergaard as Thor, or using any Batman references in regard to Matt Harvey.

And yes, this thread immediately made me think of Art Howe!
